Dumpster Rental Pricing FAQS
Nationally, the average cost of a dumpster rental ranges from $300 to $700, depending on location, rental company, rental duration, dumpster size, and the type of waste being disposed of. It’s important to confirm with every dumpster rental company what their prices include, as policies can vary between providers. Check out our dumpster rental prices above!
Humpty Dump Roll-Offs & Dumpsters has NO hidden fees! However, please note that overweight dumpsters, extended rentals, extra trip fees, disposing of hazardous materials, or damage to the container may result in an additional fee.
These details are clearly outlined in our service agreement, which is attached to every invoice that every customer receives with their rental. We encourage customers to review this agreement for complete transparency!
Our dumpster rental prices include the cost of the container rental, delivery and pickup, environmental fees, and waste disposal within the allowed tonnage for the specific dumpster size you rent.
Below are the weight limits for each dumpster size we offer:
- 10 yard dumpster – 2 ton weight limit
- 15 yard dumpster – 2 ton weight limit
- 20 yard dumpster – 3 ton weight limit
- 30 yard dumpster – 3 ton weight limit
Below is our list of prohibited items:
- Substances that are hazardous to health such as toxic or corrosive materials or liquids.
- Liquids of any kind whether contained or not.
- Cans, drums, or other containers of any kind unless emptied and crushed and incapable of carrying any liquid.
- Medical waste or animal carcasses of any kind.
- Any material not listed above however considered unsuitable for containment e.g. malodorous waste: asbestos, paint, tires, gas bottle, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, vehicle batteries, household appliances such as but not limited to refrigerators, conventional ovens, microwave ovens, washer, dryer.
- Extremely heavy material such as rock, dirt, or concrete. Please let us know and we can help you dispose of such heavy items in a more efficient manner.
- Mattresses
Humpty Dump Roll-Offs & Dumpsters’ above pricing covers rental durations between 1 to 7 days (we do not prorate the rate). Your rental period is based on the number of days you select when placing your reservation. If you anticipate needing more than 7 days, you can add an extra week for $75 when making your reservation.
Below are the weight limits for each dumpster size we offer:
- 10 yard dumpster – 2 ton weight limit
- 15 yard dumpster – 2 ton weight limit
- 20 yard dumpster – 3 ton weight limit
- 30 yard dumpster – 3 ton weight limit
As stated in our service agreement attached to every invoice, our dumpster pricing does NOT include any overages incurred due to overloading.
Due to strict weight limitations and dump fees, any additional material above the allotted tonnage will be billed at $80/ton.
Please note the price per ton increases if the dumpster weighs more than 10 tons. Any additional material above 10 tons will be billed at $150/ton.
Humpty Dump Roll-Offs & Dumpsters understands that some projects may take longer than expected, so we offer rental extensions when our inventory allows. Extensions are subject to availability and fees are as follows:
- $125 per extra week
- $25 per additional day
Please note, we will not cancel another rental to accommodate an extension request, so the sooner you notify us, the more likely we can extend your rental—especially during peak seasons.
All extension requests must be submitted by 7 AM the day before your scheduled pickup. Requests made after this time will incur a $125 late change fee, in addition to the extension fee.
Humpty Dump’s service areas include everything within the E470. Our service area map outlines this primary area and our extended delivery range. Note that deliveries in the extended range will incur an additional trip charge, and availability in these areas may vary.
